Patrick North
Title: Assistant Wrestling Coach

A former two-time NCAA All-American, Patrick North joined Ursinus College as an assistant wrestling coach in 2017.

North was a standout at 165 pounds during his collegiate career at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). In 2003, he placed second at the NCAA Championships, while in 2002 he was fourth. The native of Schenectady, N.Y., grappled from 1999-2003 and was named Senior Male Athlete of the Year in 2003.

North also captured two NCAA Qualifier Championships in 2001-02 and 2002-03. He was a two-time RIT Invitational Champion, competing against schools from divisions I, II and III. In 2002-03, North compiled a 29-3 dual match record for a .906 winning percentage.

He was equally impressive in the classroom, earning National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Academic All-American honors three times. North graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science and went on to earn his master's degree in imaging science.
