Kyle Rush is in his sixth year as head coach of the Ursinus
College Men’s Soccer team.
Rush has an impressive soccer pedigree, graduating from Wilkes University as a two-time first-team All-Middle Atlantic Conference selection. He served as an assistant coach at his alma mater from 2002 to 2006.
In addition to coaching at Ursinus, he serves as a director of training of Harleysville Youth Soccer. In that role, he helps with player development, holds coaching clinics, develops technical curriculum for younger age groups in addition to evaluating players. He continues his active role in youth soccer, serving as head coach for the U-14 Girls Vincent United Jaguars.
He was also director of coaching and training for the Northeast Attack Soccer Club, where he coached three premier teams. He was also owner and director of the Top Notch Soccer Camp.
He holds several diplomas from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, including an advanced national diploma. He has achieved a distinguished pass on all three diplomas. He will be looking to achieve his premier diploma in the summer of 2009.
A 2002 graduate of Wilkes with a degree in environmental sciences and technical writing, Rush resides in Telford.
