GILBERT, Ariz. – Ursinus College field hockey standout Bridget Sherry put a bow on an incredible career with her first selection to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-America team.
Sherry was named to the third team, capping a remarkable season that included first team All-Centennial Conference and first team All-South Region laurels.
Etching herself firmly into program lore as one of the best defensive players in Ursinus history, Sherry earned four all-conference and all-region honors, moving up to the first team in both categories as a junior and senior.
An All-American for the first time, Sherry appeared in 79 games with 72 starts for her career, logging eight goals and an assist in addition to six defensive saves. Sherry helped lead the Bears to two CC championships and an berth in the NCAA Final Four in 2015.
