Croneberger named head softball coach
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Jennifer Croneberger has been named as the new head softball coach at Ursinus College, athletic director Laura Moliken announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Croneberger recently served as head coach of the Unionville High School softball team for four seasons. She took the team from a two win season in 2006 to a second-place finish in the division in 2008. She also developed a training program from the student-athletes for the off-season.
Her softball pedigree also includes serving as an assistant coach for the Philadelphia Force of the National Fastpitch Pro League in 2009. She has worked with several Division I programs, including Fordham and Drexel Universities, on helping them build a strong team chemistry.
She was a guest clinician at the University of Tennessee Holiday Softball Camp in 2009, and has been selected as a Chester County Carpenter Cup coach every year since 2006.
A certified personal trainer, she is the founder and CEO of Excellence Training Center in Coatesville. A 1995 graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in journalism, she resides in Coatesville.
