CARLISLE, Pa. – Junior Emily McGarrigle finished in third place as the Ursinus College women's golf team continued a busy stretch of play at the Red Devil All-American Classic on Saturday.
McGarrigle shot an 8-over 80 on the 5511-yard Carlisle Barracks Course, finishing behind only a pair of Gettysburg golfers. It was the third round of 80 or lower for the junior this season.
Ursinus finished fourth in the five-team field with a final tally of 395. The host Red Devils totaled 339 strokes to edge Gettysburg by one shot, and Eastern was just four back in third.
Sophomore Alissa DiGuglielmo continued her incredible improvement with a 124 that marked a personal best by 32 strokes. In her last three rounds, DiGuglielmo has lowered her top standard by 19, 23, and 32 shots.
