Wrestler McNamara headed to Siberia
During the summer, many students head to the shore, Disney World or camping for a two-week vacation.
For Ursinus wrestler Connor McNamara (Winchester, Mass./Winchester), he will be heading 5,500 miles away for a trip of a lifetime.
McNamara, was one of 12 wrestlers selected to participate in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) All-American Tour in Siberia, Russia starting Monday, June 14 and ending Sunday, June 27.
McNamara, who was the Centennial Conference Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament and won his weight class at 197 pounds, will be join wrestlers from Lehigh, Harvard, Buffalo, Gardner-Wedd, Lock Haven, Williams and Lindsey Wilson on the trip.
