Taking Two

LANCASTER, Pa. – Two members of the Ursinus College women's soccer team were named second-team All-Centennial by the conference office on Thursday morning.

Senior back Monica Oliveto (Robesonia, Pa./Conrad Weiser) and senior midfielder Jess Porcelan (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) were both named to the second-team, which was selected by the head coaches in the conference who can not vote for their own players.

Porcelan, a four-time All-Centennial selection, led the team with six goals and 15 points. She was a first-team selection in 2008 and 2010, and was a second-team selection in 2009. In addition, she was also an All-Academic selection.

Oliveto was a repeat selection to the second-team. In 16 games this season, in which she started in all of them, she scored two goals for a total of four points.

Ursinus finished the season with a record of 7-8-1 and 4-5-1 in the Centennial Conference.
