CHESTER, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's track and field team made its second appearance of the spring season at Widener's Danny Curran Invitational on Saturday.
Junior Catherine Buczek shattered her previous personal record with a 27.01 in the 200-meter dash.
Senior Erin Farrell finished eighth overall in both the 100-meter dash (13.03) and the 200 (26.24), netting new season bests in both sprints.
Buczek and Farrell teamed with freshmen Catherine Curran and Auresa Cunningham to finish third overall – behind only Penn's A & B squads – in the 4x400-meter relay, clocking a 4:12.25 to lead all Division III competitors.
Sophomore Caroline Buckley's 33-4.75 established a season best and qualified her for the final in the triple jump; she ranks sixth in the Centennial Conference.
The women's track and field will take part in the West Chester Invitational on Saturday, April 8.
