LANCASTER, Pa. – After another historic performance, Ursinus College men's lacrosse star Bobby McClure was named Centennial Conference offensive player of the week.
McClure scored six goals in Saturday's 16-7 victory over McDaniel, establishing a new single-season program record with 40 – and still with four regular-season games remaining. The six goals also matched his own career best and single-game program high, and McClure also dished out two assists to equal his personal best.
McClure, already a two-time conference player of the week this season, ranks third in the CC in points (52) and fourth in goals (40). He is three goals away from 100 for his career, and needs two points to break the single-season program record set by Dane Mangin in 2006.
The 10th-ranked Bears return to action on Saturday with a huge CC tilt at No. 15 Franklin & Marshall.
