BRYN MAWR, PA. - The Ursinus College women's swimming team improved to 3-2 on Friday after defeating Bryn Mawr 110-75.  

The Bears jumped out to a quick start winning the 200-yard medley relay by three seconds over the Owls. The 200-yard medley quartet of Sophie Lear, Abby Ferguson, Molly Stevens, and Liv Rachael also combined for three solo wins for the Bears.  

Senior Sophie Lear picked up the Bears second victory in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:59.04. Sophomore Lauren Badger recorded two wins on the evening, winning the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke.  

Freshman Molly Stevens defeated Owls junior Kelly Peterson in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.79. Liv Rachael and Katie Barlow earned event victories in the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke. The Bears picked up wins in eight of the ten events and won both relays to claim their third consecutive victory. The 200-yard freestyle relay consisted of Barlow, Rachael, Stevens, and Missy Leonard finished with a time of 1:43.78 

The Bears return to action tomorrow Saturday, November 6th as they travel to Widener College.
