Franco Mazza (125lbs) highlighted the day for the Ursinus College men's wrestling team with a third-place finish at the Mideast Futures Tournament.

Mazza (125lbs) opened his day with a 16-0 technical fall over York's Brandon Woodward and advanced to the semifinals with a 9-2 decision over Muhlenberg's Brian McCaw. In the semifinals, dropped a heartbreaking 6-4 sudden victory decision to the No. 1 seed York's Jacob Delvecchio. He bounced back with a 10-8 decision over York's Joseph Carpenter and won the consolation final match over Muhlenberg's Brian McCaw.

At 149lbs, first-year
Derek Giordano finished with a 2-2 record. Giordano opened with a loss to York's Clinton Patzke via a fall at the 3:19-mark. He bounced back with two victories in the consolations as he defeated SUNY Cortland's Joey Visciano via a first period fall at 2:11 and advanced to the following round with a 7-1 decision over New York University's Thomas Lapinski. Giordano fell in the next match to New York University's John Garcia via fall at the 1:36-mark.

th as they travel to Ithaca, New York for the NCAA Mideast Regionals for a chance to qualify to Nationals.
