COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Tennis team bounced back and cruised to a straight-set 9-0 victory over Muhlenberg on Thursday afternoon at the Ursinus Tennis Courts in Centennial Conference action.
With the win, the Bears improved to 9-2 overall and leveled their Centennial record to 1-1. Meanwhile the Mules fell to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in Centennial Conference play.

Andrei Bogdan and sophomore
Hunter Murray won their No. 3 doubles match 8-0 over Josh Benson and Derek George. The junior No. 1 doubles duo of
Lars Jespersen and
Will Oberholtzer earned an 8-1 triumph over Eric Abbud and Isaac Shulman before juniors
Ethan Yu and
Darby Rogers won 8-0 over Gabriel Tamarkin and Noah Katz.
Rogers opened singles play by defeating Shulman 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 4 spot while Oberholtzer locked up the match with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Tamarkin. Jespersen downed Abbud 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 1 position and Yu shut out Katz 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Bogdan took down Benson 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 singles to stretch his unbeaten start to his collegiate career at singles to 10-0. Murray capped the match by winning a 6-0, 6-2 decision over Matthew Wagner at the No. 6 spot.
The Bears return to action on Saturday, April 1st as they will host Dickinson at 1:00 p.m.
