WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Ursinus College women's swimming team dominated by taking 11 events in their tri-meet against McDaniel and Juniata on Saturday afternoon and garnered wins over both teams. The Bears won 76-44 over the host Green Terror and 72-48 over the Eagles.
Six different Bears swimmers earned 10 individual wins in the meet. Senior

Morgan Valeriano earned two wins apiece while junior

Mia Tamburrino, senior
Molly Stevens, and senior Alex Zelinske all recorded individual wins.
Bozzomo decisively won the first individual race of the day in the 1000 freestyle on her time of 11:32.49 and Barlow cruised in the 200 free on a time of 2:02.34. Zelinske took her win in the 100 backstroke after touching the wall at 1:04.18 and Tamburrino followed one event later by recording a win in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:16.74. Lynch dominated the 200 freestyle with her time of 2:24.22 and Valeriano earned her first win of the day in the 50 free at a time of 25.94. Stevens and Zelinske went 1-2 in the 100 free with Stevens winning the race on a time of 58.66 compared to Zelinske at 1:01.26. Barlow picked up her second win in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:13.60 and Valeriano decisively won the 500 free on a time of 5:37.50. Lynch edged Bozzomo in the 100 butterfly to cap off the Bears day by finishing with a time of 1:05.24.
The 200 yard medley relay team of Zelinske, Valeriano, Tamburrino, and Stevens tallied a victory in the lone relay race the Bears competed him behind a time of 1:59.73.
Ursinus has nearly a month off before returning to action on Friday, December 6th as they will open a home-and-home meet series with Swarthmore at home starting at 6:00 p.m.
