Allie Armour fell 8-6 to Sophie Fenster and Fernada Hurtado 8-6.
In singles, the No. 5 match finished first with sophomore
Kate Rubinkam dropping a 1-6, 2-6 decision to Hurtado. Samer lost a competitive 4-6, 4-6 No. 3 singles match against West, while Burke suffered a 3-6, 4-6 loss to Wynn Bryant at the No. 2 spot which sealed the match for the Owls. Armour won Ursinus its first point in singles in the No. 1 match by defeating Fenster 6-3, 7-6. Daly earned a valiant win in the No. 4 singles match by outlasting Eng 7-6, 7-5 before sophomore
Fiona Finnerty finished the competition with a win in No. 6 singles against Kelly Cole with a score of 1-6, 6-0, 6-4.
The Bears return to action on Tuesday, April 23rd as they will host Franklin and Marshall for their final regular season home match at 4:00 p.m.
