Women's Wrestling Finishes 2-1 at Ursinus Duals

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus College women's wrestling team opened their 2025 schedule finishing with a 2-1 record while hosting the Ursinus Duals on Sunday from the Floy Lewis Bakes Fieldhouse.

The Bears opened with back-to-back victories over Felician University (26-11) and D'Youville University (31-10), before falling in their finale, 24-23, against Yok College. Junior Kalli Roskos (124lbs), sophomores Stacy Bloomfield (131lbs), Paisley Fox (145lbs), and Emma Matera (160lbs) all each finished with perfect 3-0 records on the day.

"I'm really proud of how the women competed today," Director of Wrestling Joe Jamison said. "We were a little shorthanded but battled every step of the way. We're young and still figuring out what our brand of wrestling looks like, but I believe that we got a lot closer to that today and we need to it more consistently."
