COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Men's Tennis took on Muhlenberg in Centennial Conference action on Monday afternoon in their final home match of the regular season.
The Mules got the doubles point by taking two of the three matches. Sophomore
Teddy Snyder and first-year
Devin Carter defeated Josh Simon and Gabriel Tamarkin 6-0 at No. 3 doubles for the Bears lone win in doubles play. Junior
Andrei Bogdan and first-year
Charles DiCicco lost 6-3 to Matt Miller and Max Gofton at the No. 2 spot and sophomore
Noah Dichter and first-year
Russell Nour dropped a No. 1 doubles match 7-5 to Owen Dyer and William Rose.
Nour defeated Gofton 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4 singles before Dichter was bested by Rose 4-6, 2-6 at the No. 3 spot. First-year
Charles DiCicco defeated Simon 6-3, 6-1 at the No. 5 spot and Carter outlasted Shulman 6-1, 0-6, 6-3 at the No. 6 spot. Muhlenberg then closed out the match with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles as Snyder lost to Dyer at the No. 1 position4-6, 6-7 (6-8) and Bogdan was downed by Miller at the No. 2 spot 6-4, 3-6, 1-6.
The Bears take on No. 39 Haverford on Tuesday, April 22nd at 4:00 p.m.
