INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – First-year women's swimmer Caelan Ladd earned her second All-America honor at the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday at the IU Natatorium, hosted in conjunction with the Indiana Sports Corp.

Ladd once again earned second-team All-America honors in the 400-yard individual medley, breaking her own school record, and finishing ninth overall with a time of 4:21.94. On Wednesday, she collected her first All-America honor by finishing 14th in the 500-yard freestyle, also breaking the Ursinus school record with a time of 4:56.23.

In the morning preliminary session, Ladd just missed qualifying for the A final, placing 10th with a time of 4:24.05. In the evening finals session, she posted a personal-best time of 4:21.94 to win the B-Final, breaking her own school record, and finishing more than two seconds faster than her preliminary mark. Although she placed ninth overall, Ladd recorded the fifth-fastest time in the event on the day.

She will return to the pool Friday morning to compete in the 200-yard butterfly, where she is seeded 27th. Friday's events include the 200-medley relay, 200 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 100 breaststroke and 800 freestyle relay.
