COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. - The Ursinus Women's Tennis team played host to Gettysburg on Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference action at the Ace Bailey Tennis Courts.

Gettysburg won two of the three doubles matches to win the first point. Senior
Kate Rubinkam and junior
Morgan Coupe got lone Bears win at No. 2 doubles by defeating Eden Levkov and Meaghan Dougherty 6-2. Senior
Bella Vassalluzzo and junior
Caroline Daly lost 6-0 at No. 1 doubles to Gabby Mazzeo and Arina Zheliaskova while sophomore
Katie Yu and first-year
Sara Steelesmith dropped a 6-3 No. 3 doubles match to Lindsay Paullin and Emma Ward.

In singles, Yu dropped a 1-6, 1-6 match to Mazzeo at the No. 2 singles spot while Daly was bested 0-6, 3-6 at the No. 1 spot by Zheliaskova. Rubinkam lost 2-6, 3-6 to Levkov at No. 5 singles and Vassalluzzo defeated Dougherty 6-2, 6-4 at the No. 4 singles spot. Steelesmith was downed 3-6, 3-6 by Carroccio at No. 6 singles and Coupe outlasted Ward 7-5, 3-6, 10-8 at No. 3 singles.
