WEST CHESTER, Pa. - The Ursinus Men's Tennis team suffered a tough 4-3 setback to West Chester of Division II in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon.

West Chester won two of the three doubles matches to earn the first point of the match. Senior
Andrei Bogdan and junior
Teddy Snyder highlighted doubles plays for the Bears with a 6-3 No. 2 doubles win over Ashton Bunch and Zack Bull. Junior
Deniz Finkel and first-year
Bogdan Maksimovic dropped a 6-0 No. 1 doubles contest to JP Beirana Guzman and Thomaz Joly while junior
Noah Dichter and sophomore
Charles DiCicco lost 6-1 at No. 3 doubles to Alessandro Melotti and Nico Pascale.

Dichter was downed 2-6, 0-6 by Guzman at No 3 singles and first-year
James Fassbender bested Abbott 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 singles. Bogdan suffered a 6-7, 3-6 setback at the No. 4 singles spot to Joly before DiCicco outlasted Bull 6-4, 3-6, 6-0 at the No. 6 spot. Snyder suffered a tough 7-6, 2-6, 3-6 No. 2 singles match to Melotti and Finkel closed the day out by defeating Bunch 1-6, 6-4, 7-6 at No. 1 singles.
