BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Cross Country team began its 2026 season at the Bryn Mawr Invitational on Saturday morning.
The Bears finished second as a team in the six-team field with 61 points that was just behind Swarthmore at 23 points.
Sophomore
Emi Loverdi led the Bears in the 5K race in fourth overall with her time of 21:20.1. Classmate
Alissa Joseph was second among Ursinus runners in 13
th overall with her time of 23:04.3 while junior
Aubrey Myers and sophomore
Cadence Shaw were 14
th and 15
th respectively, on times of 23:04.8 and 23:05.5.

Lindsay Solomon led another trio of Bears in 20
th overall on her time of 23:30.5, first-year
Edith Green was in 21
st at 23:40.9, and junior
Elizabeth Dill finished 22
nd with her time of 23:42.5

Emma Scarpone recorded a time of 23:55.8 to finish 26
th while classmate
Brooklyn Scalise was in 28
th at 24:13.3.

Julianna Mullen rounded out the Bears with her time of 26:14.3
The Bears return to action in two weeks on Friday, September 18th as they will compete in the Haverford Main Line Invitational at 4:45 p.m.
