JUNIOR (2024-25): At the Centennial Conference Championships, earned a third-place finish in the B-Final of the 500-yard freestyle (4:42.98) and took seventh place in the B-Final of the 200-yard freestyle (1:45.20) … Placed fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (22.61) in his season debut versus York College (10/26) … Posted a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.87) in the Bears’ dual meet victory over Kutztown (1/17) … Won the 500-yard freestyle event during the team’s dual meet against Misericordia (1/18) … Took first place in the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.89) in the team’s dual meet against Stevens (1/25).

FIRST-YEAR (2022-23): At Centennial Conference Championships, earned a bronze medal in the 500-yard freestyle (4:35.69) and combined for a third-place finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay (6:52.59) … Placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:42.01) and 1650-yard freestyle (16:15.19), earning a D3 B-Cut Time … Placed second in the 500 free (4:52.41) and fifth in the 200 free (1:48.14) at the Centennial Quad Meet (10/22) … Collected a first-place finish in the 1000 free (10:06.12) and a third place honor in the 100 free (50.87) during team’s dual meet victory over Widener (11/5) … Placed sixth in the 1650-yard freestyle (16:55.03) and eighth in the 200 free (1:45.93) at the Gettysburg Invitational (12/3) … Earned a first-place finish in the 200 free (1:46.89) and 500-yard freestyle (4:48.71) team’s dual meet victory over Dickinson (1/28) … Named to the CSCAA Individual Scholar All-American Second Team … Holds second fastest time in school history in the 200 free (1:42.01), 500 free (4:25.69), and third fastest in the 1000 free (9:46.50) and 1650-yard freestyle (16:15.19).

Before Ursinus: Graduated from Deerfield High School … Member of varsity swimming and water polo … Team won conference in Swimming and Water Polo … Holds the school record in the 200 & 500 free.

Personal: Born July 25^th, 2004 … Son of Nancy and Joe McCauley … Has one brother, Mason (Swam at Illinois Wesleyan University) … English and Education Major.

Why Urisnus?

I loved the professors I met with and the programs and opportunities they had. I also enjoyed meeting with the swim team.
