Casey Green enters his second year as the Head Cross Country / Assistant Track & Field Coach at Ursinus College and third year overall with the program. Hired in the Fall of 2024 as the Associate Head Coach, Coach Green came to Collegeville with over a decade of experience and success at the collegiate and high school levels. In his first two years at Ursinus, Coach Green has led his groups to six school records and multiple All-Region and All-Conference awards.
Green started at Ursinus after working at Lafayette College as the Athletic Operations Coordinator in 2023-2024. Green served as the Athletic Events and Operations Coordinator as well as the Head Cross Country and Track and Field Coach at Madison Country Day School (MCDS) from 2022-2023. While at MCDS, Green coached Hannah Hallick to top-5 finishes at the WIAA State Championship in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m.
Green worked at Bryant & Stratton College, in Wauwatosa, WI from 2018-2021 where he finished as the Director of Cross Country and Track and Field. Coach Green’s teams won the NJCAA Regional Championship and advanced to the NJCAA National Championship finishing 10th overall. Green was awarded the 2019 NJCAA Region 4 Cross Country Coach of the Year award that season. On the track, Green led high jumper Jaivon Harrison to a NJCAA National title with a leap of 2.18m (7’ 1.75”).
Before Bryant & Stratton, Green served as the Athletic Director and Head Coach of Cross Country / Track & Field at The Noble Academy in Chicago, IL from 2015-2018. While at the Noble Academy, Green’s teams won two conference titles in cross country and qualified multiple individuals and a team to the IHSA State Championships.
Coach Green began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Michigan State University where he assisted with cross country and mid-distance/distance events on the track. During his tenure, Michigan State women won the 2014 NCAA Cross Country Championship and the 2015 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Conference Championship. Green also worked with 2015 NCAA Indoor Mile Champion, Leah Connor while at Michigan State.
Green hails from Burlington, VT and competed at The College Wooster in Wooster, OH. He and his wife Gabbi, reside in Collegeville with their son Wilder.
