Feinberg has been coaching swimming for the past 40 years – 30 at the college level preceded by 10 with high school and club teams. Since taking over, the men and women have set all 38 team records, and the teams together now own five Centennial Conference records. In his time at Ursinus, Feinberg has a combined 245-152 record.

Feinberg has been named Centennial Conference Coach of the Year a record nine times and the women have won six Centennial Conference Championships. He has coached 17 individual Academic All-Americans and nine individual All-Americans.  Many of whom achieved that honor on multiple occasions.

A native of Williamsport, Pennsylvania and a 1989 graduate of Shippensburg University, Feinberg came to Ursinus after spending 10 years as an assistant swimming coach at West Chester University, where he led the Golden Rams to multiple top-five finishes at the Division II championships during his tenure. After earning his master’s degree in sports management from West Chester in 1997, he served as an instructor in the department of kinesiology until 2004.

At Shippensburg, Feinberg was a four-year swimmer and two-time All-American. After college, he went on to swim at the YMCA Masters, becoming a six-time national champion. Feinberg has also competed as a tri-athlete and completed his first Ironman in 2007. He currently resides in Collegeville with his wife and three children.
