FIRST-YEAR (2023-24): Had a breakout freshman season for the Bears notching a 36-9 record … Named Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year (2/16) … Opened his season with a runner-up finish at the Messiah Invitational behind a 3-1 record (11/4) … The freshman continued his success by placing third at the Racich Rumble defeating Division III technical fall leader Gavin Hollingsworth (11/11) … Cowan was undefeated in dual matches for the Bears posting a 12-0 record … The rookie became just the second first-year wrestler under Joe Jamison to earn Centennial gold (2/10) … His phenomenal season ended at the NCAA Mideast Championships placing fourth behind a 3-2 record (3/2).
