The Bears finished with one of their best seasons in program history in 2026, finishing with a 25-18-1 record and qualifying for the Centennial Conference Baseball Tournament. During the Bears' 2026 postseason run, Ursinus earned victories over Gettysburg College, Washington College, and McDaniel College before falling to nationally ranked Johns Hopkins in the championship game, marking the program's first appearance in the title game since 2017.

The 2026 season also featured major individual recognition for the pitching staff under Threadgill's guidance. Ursinus saw pitchers Dan Bass '26 and Max Shilstone '26 receive All-Centennial Conference honors. Bass earned first-team All-Centennial honors, while Shilstone was a second-team selection. Bass and first-year two-way player Jamie O'Neill also earned D3baseball.com All-Region honors, with Bass adding an ABCA All-Region selection.

The Bears' pitching staff saw three members rank among the Centennial Conference leaders. Shilstone '26 led the way, finishing with the lowest ERA in the conference at 3.00 over 48 innings pitched. Alex Grehawick '28 and Bass '26 tied for second with 3.72 ERAs. Bass led the conference with 75 innings pitched while ranking second in strikeouts (62) and third in opponents' batting average (.229). Bass closed out his career ranked second in program history in innings pitched (230.2) and third in strikeouts (203).
