Kyle Lindsay has served as the head baseball coach of the Ursinus College baseball program since January 2023 and has helped guide the Bears back into contention in the Centennial Conference.

Since arriving in Collegeville, Lindsay has emphasized player development, competitive scheduling, recruiting, and building a complete program culture. That progress was highlighted during the 2026 season, when Ursinus finished 25-18-1, qualified for the Centennial Conference Tournament for the first time since 2017, and advanced to the Centennial Conference Championship game for the first time since 2017. The Bears’ 2026 run included postseason victories over Gettysburg, Washington College, and McDaniel before falling to nationally ranked Johns Hopkins in the title game.

The 2026 season also featured major individual recognition under Lindsay’s leadership. He was also the first full-time head baseball coach in Delaware Valley program history.

Before becoming a head coach, Lindsay built a strong foundation as an assistant coach at several successful Division III programs. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, Misericordia University, where he served as a graduate assistant from 2017-19 under head coach Pete Egbert. During his time on staff, the Cougars won multiple MAC Freedom Championships, made multiple NCAA Tournament appearances, and advanced to the NCAA Division III College World Series in 2018 for the first time in program history. Lindsay helped coach two All-Americans, two MAC Freedom Pitchers of the Year, one MAC Freedom Player of the Year, and 21 All-MAC Freedom selections.

Lindsay then joined Arcadia University as an assistant coach prior to the 2020 season. After the shortened 2020 campaign, the Knights advanced to the MAC Freedom Tournament semifinals in 2021 during Lindsay’s second season on staff.

A standout player at Misericordia, Lindsay was a four-year starter and a member of four MAC Freedom championship teams. He graduated as one of the most accomplished players in program history, finishing as Misericordia’s all-time leader in hits, runs scored, games played, and at-bats. He also ranked among the program’s career leaders in doubles, total bases, and RBIs. Lindsay was a http://D3baseball.com All-American, a two-time All-Region selection, and a four-time All-MAC Freedom honoree during his playing career.
