Natalie Mehl, ’24, joined Ursinus College women’s basketball staff for the 2026-27 season. Mehl spent the last two years serving as the Assistant varsity coach at Pottstown High School, where she helped lead the team to a PIAA District One playoff berth in 2026.
A 2024 graduate of Ursinus, Mehl was an outstanding guard for the Bears who helped lead the team to the 2024 Centennial Conference semi-finals as a senior. Mehl transferred to Ursinus in 2022 and quickly became a leading force for the Bears offense, averaging 11 points per game and leading the team in three pointers during her junior and senior seasons.
During her time at Ursinus, Mehl was a three year member of the Dean’s List and earned Centennial Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll honors twice. Before UC, she was a 1,000-point scorer at Steinert High School in New Jersey.
In addition to her work coaching at Pottstown, she has served as an AAU youth coach with Every Level Basketball.
Mehl graduated with a degree in English and secondary education and is an English teacher at nearby Perkiomen High School.
