COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – With the match tied up at 1-set each, Haverford won the next two as the Fords (11-12, 4-0 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (8-12, 1-4 Centennial) 3-1 on Sunday afternoon in Centennial Conference volleyball play.

Set scores were 25-17, 23-25, 25-14 and 25-12.

For Ursinus, sophomore middle blocker Kristin Hanratty (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) had a team-high 11 kills, with junior outside hitter Kim Goldberg (Sarasota, Fla./Out of Door Academy) chipping in with ten kills.

Junior setter Elizabeth Roth (York, Pa./Dallastown Area) had 32 assists.

Defensively, senior outside hitter Gabriella Galleo (Reading, Pa./Spring-Ford) had 19 digs, while Hanratty added in ten. Galleo was honored before the match as she recently surpassed the 1,000 dig mark in her career.
