Box Score EWING, N.J. – Ursinus College senior forward Jennifer Bayzick (Sugarloaf, Pa./Hazleton Area) scored the game-winning goal
with just 2:12 remaining in the game as fourth-ranked Ursinus (5-1)
defeated 12th-ranked The College of New Jersey (7-1) 3-2
on Tuesday evening at Lions Stadium.
Bayzick scored right in front of the cage as Ursinus won its
fifth-straight game.
Senior midfielder Megan Yoder (Lititz, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite)
had two goals in the win, including a goal at 57:29 to give Ursinus
a 2-1 lead. She scored the first goal of the game at 4:55, giving
Ursinus an early lead.
TCNJ tied the score at 1-all at 55:58 as Kathleen Notos scored
on an assist from Mary Waller. The Lions again tied the score at
2-all with just 4:24 remaining on an assist from Leigh
Mitchell.
Senior goalkeeper LauraLee Lightwood-Mater (Bethlehem,
Pa./George School) had three saves in the win, as Ursinus outshot
the Lions 24-10.
