CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Ursinus took an early 1-0 lead, only to see DeSales score two second half goals as the Bulldogs (3-0) defeated the Bears (0-2) 2-1 Sunday afternoon in non-conference men's soccer play.

Ursinus got on the board at 7:10 as junior midfielder Andrew Machalick (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) scored off of a corner kick by junior forward Jean Carlo Cordova (Quito, Ecuador/Spring-Ford).

DeSales tied the game 65:01 on a goal by Rusty Helwig, followed by a goal from Derek Long with just 6:44 left to win the match.

Junior goalkeeper Mike Alfieri (Mount Laurel, N.J./Lenape) made eight saves.
