ALLENTOWN, Pa.- Ursinus senior forward Katelyn Miller's (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) goal in the 67th minute pushed Ursinus to a 2-1 win over Muhlenberg Wednesday night in women's soccer action. The game was the season finale for both teams.
Miller's shot bounced off of the goalkeeper's hand, capping a two-goal second half. Junior forward Leah Shaw (Bordentown, N.J./Bordentown Regional) had tied the score at 1-all in the 59th minute on an assisted goal.
Muhlenberg scored the first goal of the game after a scoreless first half on a goal by CJ Graetzer in the 58th minute.
Ursinus held a 9-7 advantage in shots and got two saves from sophomore goalkeeper Kara DiJoseph (Turnersville, N.J./Washington Township) in the win.
The Bears finished 7-8-1 overall and 4-5-1 in the Centennial Conference.
