BALTIMORE, Md. – The Ursinus College women's basketball team dropped the second half of its season series with #22 ranked Johns Hopkins by a score of 67-46.

The Bears were lead by senior forward Lindsay Teuber (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Basil's) with 20 points and twelve rebounds.  Sophomore guard Diamond Lewis (East Windsor, N.J./ Stuart County Day) finished with ten points, while senior guard Alli Rosati (Jamison, Pa./Central Bucks East) finished with eight. 

The opening 20 saw Ursinus go into the intermission facing a 31-26 deficit. Ursinus was out-rebounded by the Blue Jays 25-18, with 17 of Hopkins' rebounds coming off the defensive glass (Ursinus grabbed 13). Despite the difference, both squads' shooting percentages hovered around 40 percent  (the Bears at 37.9 percent and Hopkins at 40 percent). Surprisingly, not a single three-point field goal was made and only four total attempts made by both teams despite both teams' ability to shoot the long ball. The Blue Jays held a 4-1 advantage in blocked shots while the Bears held a 7-8 advantage in turnovers.

The second half was a different story however, as the Blue Jays shot 52.2 percent and the Bears shot 27.3 percent.  The Blue Jays out-rebounded the Bears by a 22-10 count in the second half.

Ursinus returns to action Wednesday evening as they travel to Washington College for a 6 pm tilt with the Shorewomen. A win will put the Bears in the Centennial Conference playoffs for the second straight season.
