Box Score COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Nationally-ranked F&M scored three goals in the first half as the Diplomats (7-2, 1-2 Centennial) defeated Ursinus (4-5, 1-2 Centennial) 3-1 Thursday night in men's soccer play.
Ben Beaver scored twice and added an assist for the 20th-ranked Diplomats.
Ursinus' lone goal came in the 74th minute as freshman forward Ryan Butler (Palmyra, N.J./Palmyra) scored his 11th goal of the season on an assist by senior defender Colin Kunkle (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson).
Freshman goalkeeper Kieran Keyser (Petersburg, N.J./Ocean City) made six saves on the night.
Ursinus hosts Washington on Saturday night.
