COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus continued its stay atop the Centennial Conference standings as the Bears (7-5-1, 3-1-1 Centennial) defeated Washington College (6-6-1, 0-4-1 Centennial) 3-1 on Saturday in men's soccer action.

The Bears got two goals from sophomore midfielder Ryan Butler on the afternoon.

Butler scored the first goal 17:23 in on an assist from freshman forward Wyatt Powell, with sophomore midfielder Hans Seri scoring a left-footed goal with three seconds left in the first half for a 2-0 lead.

Butler scored his second goal on a breakaway feed from freshman forward Ryan Molyneaux at 68:37.

Washington added a goal in the 83rd minute as junior midfielder Matt Wilfong scored on a blast following a restart

Ursinus heads to McDaniel next Saturday.
