CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Ursinus closed its 2013 season with a 3-0 loss to Washington College on Saturday afternoon in volleyball action.

Set scores were 25-10, 25-12 and 25-14.

In their final match of the season, Ursinus (9-19, 0-10 Centennial) got six kills from sophomore outside hitter Karla Thiele (Lakeland, Fla./George Jenkins Senior), and four each from junior setter Gina Powers (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) and senior outside hitter Anahi McIntyre (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West).

Powers had 13 assists, with freshman setter Emily van Mulbregt (Wayland, Mass./Wayland) getting five.

Defensively, junior libero Leah Masiello (New Castle, Del./St. Elizabeth's) had ten digs, with Powers getting nine and Thiele along with junior defensive specalist Joy Oakman (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon) netting six.
