Men's Soccer blanks Immaculata, 2-0

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Ursinus College sophomore forward Ryan Butler (Palmyra, N.J./Palmyra) scored a goal and added an assist as the Bears (3-4) posted their second straight shutout with a 2-0 win over Immaculata (0-6) on Tuesday afternoon.

Ursinus scored late in the second half to post its second straight win. The first goal came in the 72nd minute when sophomore midfielder Charles Brodsky (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Friends Central) scored on a Butler assist. Butler would add his lone goal with 3:38 left in the game on a breakaway goal. 

Junior goalkeeper Ryan Murphy (Sewell, N.J./Paul VI) posted his second straight shutout, making two saves on three shots. Ursinus had 26 shots on the afternoon.

The Bears host nationally-ranked Dickinson on Saturday.
