COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Ursinus got 13 kills from sophomore outside hitter Karla Thiele (Lakeland, Fla./George Jenkins) on the afternoon, but, dropped a 3-1 decision to F&M in volleyball play on Saturday.

Set scores were 25-10, 21-25, 25-20 and 25-16. 

Freshman middle blocker Sam Murphy (Holden, Mass./Wachusett Regional) and junior setter Gina Powers (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) each had five kills for the Bears (5-6, 0-2 Centennial). Powers assisted on 17 kills in the match, with freshman setter Emily van Mulbregt (Wayland, Mass./Wayland) chipping in with seven.

Defensively, junior libero Leah Masiello (New Castle, Del./St. Elizabeth's) had 16 digs with Thiele adding in 12.

Senior middle blocker Mara Berzins (Perkasie, Pa./Penn Ridge) made two solo blocks.

F&M got a match-high 17 kills from Julie Harvey, with Ellie Ezekiel getting 12.
