IMMACULATA, Pa. - With 19 points from Brittany Merkle and 18 points from Sara Smith, the Mighty Macs (4-5) handed Ursinus (3-6) a 69-55 loss on Wednesday night on the Main Line.

Ursinus was led by 22 points from junior forward Jessica Porada and 12 points from sophomore guard Adrienne Cellucci. The Bears trailed by 18 at intermission, shooting just 25 percent from the field (7-for-25). Junior guard Alyssa Polimeni had nine points.

Immaculata had a 44-28 edge in rebounds, with Smith picking up a game-high 12 and Merkle getting ten.

Ursinus is off till 2015, when the Bears host DeSales on January 3.
