Box Score HAVERFORD, Pa. – Needing a win to stay alive in the Centennial Conference playoff race, Ursinus saw Haverford spoil their chances as the Fords (20-3, 14-3 Centennial) defeated the Bears (11-12, 8-9 Centennial) 73-36 at Calvin Gooding '84 Arena Wednesday night. Haverford remained alone in first place while Ursinus saw its playoff chances end as Gettysburg is now two games up on the Bears.
Sophomore forward Jessica Porada led the Bears again netting ten points and three rebounds. Sophomore forward Elana Roadcload put up a season high on the boards pulling in ten rebounds and contributing five points.
Haverford forward Elizabeth Lynch and guard Rachel Baskin combined for 30 points with Nina Voith chipping in another ten points.
The Bears only connected on 25 percent of their shots from the field and went 0-7 from behind the three-point line, while the Fords shot 48 percent as they led by as much as 37 points.
Ursinus heads to Muhlenberg on Saturday for a 2 p.m. start.
