Box Score ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Muhlenberg's Leanna Tallamy scored 17 points, and grabbed 14 rebounds, as the Mules (9-2 Centennial, 10-5) defeated Ursinus (5-5 Centennial, 6-10) 79-65 on Wednesday night in women's basketball action.
For Ursinus, junior forward Jessica Porada scored a game-high 20 points, while junior guard Alyssa Polimeni added in 12 for the Bears.
Muhlenberg led the entire game, taking as much as a 30-point lead in the second half. Ursinus did also get seven points from junior forward Caroline Shimrock, while only committing 13 turnovers as a team.
Porada also grabbed nine rebounds for Ursinus, with three of them coming on the offensive glass. Polimeni handed out eight assists, while the Bears shot 45.5 percent from the three-point line in the second half.
Ursinus hosts McDaniel on Saturday. McDaniel defeated Gettysburg on Wednesday night, so the Bears remain tied with the Bullets for the fifth and final playoff spot.
