McDaniel scored in the 20th minute to take a lead as Greysen Brockbank scored on an assist from Storm Robinson.
Ursinus owned a 14-10 advantage on shots and a 7-4 edge on corner kicks.
In goal, junior Vince Maiorino (Mount Laurel, N.J./Bishop Eustace) made five saves in the tie.
