WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ursinus broke into the win column on Tuesday afternoon as the Bears (1-3-1) defeated The Catholic University of America (2-4) by a 1-0 score.

Senior midfielder Dean DerSimonian (Wayne, Pa./Radnor) scored the lone goal in the 75^th minute, on an assist from sophomore forward Jamie Harper (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends).

From there, junior goalkeeper Vince Maiorino (Mount Laurel, N.J./Bishop Eustace) did the rest as he made six saves on the afternoon.

Ursinus heads to Gettysburg on Saturday.
