COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – In a game that had its fair share of weather drama, the Ursinus College men's soccer team improved to 3-1 on the season with a 2-0 win over Neumann on Wednesday night. The game started nearly 90 minutes after its originally started time and then got called with 11:40 left to go in the second half.

After a quick 10-minute warm-up, the players finally kicked off at 9 p.m. Both teams traded early shots, with Alexis Ayala firing a shot on goal in the game's first minute. Finally, in the 43rd minute, the Bears broke through.

Coming in on a rush, Joe Kilday received an incredible back-heel pass and played Kevin Devlin open on a through ball for the early goal. Just 1:44 later, Colin Klingman was tripped up in the box and put away his third penalty kick of the season, giving the Bears a 2-0 lead before the half.

Klingman's penalty kick goal is his third of the season, which is more total penalty kicks than the Bears even attempted in any season since at least 2005.

Ursinus came out firing in the second half with a pair of shots from Marco Grenda. The Knights put on the pressure late, firing a pair of shots of their own – both of which were turned away by Tyler Lewin.

The sophomore goalkeeper saved all four shots on frame to earn his third clean sheet of the season. Lewin has recorded a shutout in each of the Bears' three wins.

With lightning coming back in the area late in the second half, the game was called with 11:40 to play. NCAA rules state that any game with under 20-minutes to play is considered an official game.
