WESTMINISTER, MD - The Ursinus College volleyball team looked to carry their momentum from game one into game two as the ladies took to the court for match two against the Gophers.  

The Bears were leading 14-8 in the opening set, before rallying eleven consecutive points and winning set one 25-9. Luca Walborn, Caroline Sherman, and Katie Cressman each recorded points during the Bears run.  

The Gophers did not give up though, bouncing back in the second set and stopping the Bears momentum with a score of 25-17 to tie the sets at one a piece.  

The Bears went on to close out the game, winning both the third and fourth sets 25-20 and 25-22 respectively.  

Some key stats from the game include 33 assists for Claire Worley. More contributions came from Katie Cressman, Caroline Sherman, and Haley Spotts combined for 35 kills.  

The Bears retake the court for a conference matchup Wednesday night at 7 against Haverford.
