With the loss, the Bears fell to 8-5 overall and 0-3 in Centennial Conference action. Meanwhile, the Fords improved to 4-5 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Bella Vassalluzzo battled before ultimately falling 8-4 to Annie Barrett and Sriya Krishnan at the No. 3 spot.

In singles, first-year
Fiona Finnerty was defeated 6-0, 6-1 by Barrett at the No. 6 spot while Stewart was downed by Erika Phanord at the No. 3 position 6-0, 6-1. Samer suffered a 6-3, 6-0 loss to Krishnan at No. 4 singles and Compagnoni dropped a 6-3, 6-0 decision to Menon playing out of the No. 5 singles spot. Burke hung tough with Summer Williams before dropping her No. 2 singles match 6-3, 6-3 and Armour fell 6-4, 6-0 to Rachael Fitzgerald at No. 1 singles.
