COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's Tennis team earned a dominant straight-set 9-0 victory over Muhlenberg on Thursday afternoon at the Ursinus Tennis Courts in Centennial Conference action.
With the win, the Bears improved to 9-5 overall and to 1-3 in Centennial Conference action. Meanwhile the Mules fell to 2-8 overall and 0-5 in Centennial Conference play.

Shannon Stewart completed the doubles sweep by winning 8-3 over Kety Gaidamashvili and Sophia Framm 8-3 at the No. 1 spot.
Stewart continued the dominance in singles play by defeating Bestrycki 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 3 spot while Armour earned the winning match point with a 6-0, 6-1 triumph over Gaidamashvili at No. 1 singles. Burke downed Framm 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 2 position and Compagnoni bested Hermanson 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 singles. First-year
Fiona Finnerty took down Lennon 6-2, 6-0 at No. 5 singles while Vassalluzzo capped the match by winning a 6-4, 6-2 decision over Wolff at the No. 6 spot.
Ursinus returns to action on Saturday, April 1st as they will host Dickinson in Centennial Conference action at 1:00 p.m.
