Shannon Stewart were downed 8-4 by Nicole Lim and Fernanda Hurtado at No. 1 doubles.
In singles, Armour suffered a 6-0, 6-2 setback to Lim at the No. 1 spot while Samer fell 7-5, 6-2 to Hurtado at the No. 4 position. Compagnoni kept the Bears alive with a 6-0, 7-6 (7-2) win over Cole at No. 5 singles, but first-year
Fiona Finnerty was edged 6-3, 6-4 by Eng at the No. 6 position to give the match to the Owls. Stewart dropped a tough 5-7, 6-4, 2-6 match to West at No. 3 singles and Burke won a thrilling 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 10-6 match over Bryant at No. 2 singles.
The Bears wrap up their season tomorrow, April 22nd as they will host No. 15 Johns Hopkins for senior day now at 12:00 p.m.
