COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Ursinus Women's tennis team closed out its fall slate with a 7-0 victory over Neumann on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action at the Ace Bailey Tennis Courts.
The Bears moved their record to 1-1 while the Knights open the season 0-1 in the fall portion of the schedule.
Frederika Tavani also earned her first win as head coach of both the men's and women's Ursinus tennis teams.

Fiona Finnerty took down Sha'xaria Gordon and Juliet Schilling 6-0 at the No. 2 spot. Senior

Katarina Yu rolled past Alura Troilo and Kayleigh DelleVecchi 6-0 at the No. 1 position.
In singles play, Coupe and Stewart earned forfeit wins at the No. 5 and No. 6 single spots and Armour breezed by Troilo 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 1 spot for match point. Sophomore
Caroline Daly defeated DelleVecchi 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 3 singles position and Vassalluzzo took down Schilling 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 4 spot. Yu bested Gordon 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot to close out the match.
The Bears will return to action in March on their spring break trip to Orlando, Florida.
