LOGAN TWP, N.J. – Senior
Mia Sideris earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors to headline the Ursinus Women's Cross Country team at the NCAA Metro Regional Championships on Saturday afternoon at Rowan University.
The Bears finished 15th overall with 390 points as a team. Sideris earned All-Region honors for the second straight season after finishing a career best eighth in the race on a time of 22:01.9. Sideris narrowly missed qualifying for the NCAA Championship race next Saturday by one spot as the top-7 runners not from the automatic qualifying team earned at-large berths.
First-year
Emi Loverdi was second among Ursinus runners after crossing the line in 75
th overall with her time of 24:29.3. and sophomore
Aubrey Myers was the third Bears runner to finish the race in 106
th overall on her time of 25:34.4. Sophomore
Elizabeth Dill finished 115
th overall with her time of 25:51.2 and classmate
Lindsay Solomon was next at 26:07.6.
A pair of seniors wrapped up their Ursinus careers next as
Corrine Martello finished with a time of 26:21.4 and
Brooke Richards with a time of 26:27.8.
