All-Conference Team
LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior Ursinus Volleyball player
Mel Eglinton earned All-Centennial Team honors, announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Eglinton garnered All-Centennial Honorable Mention which is the first All-Conference honor of her career. Senior
Reena Robinson was the Bears representative to the All-Centennial Volleyball Sportsmanship Team.
Eglinton led the Bears in her final season on the team with 194 kills that tied for 10
th in the Centennial Conference and 2.34 kills per set. She also paced the Bears with a .236 hitting percentage, 181 digs, and ranked second on the team with 35 blocks. Eglinton played well down the stretch for Ursinus by recording double-digit kills in four of their last five games with two being kill-dig double-doubles.
The Norristown, Pennsylvania native finishes her Ursinus career with 686 kills, 641 digs, 113 blocks, 59 aces, and 58 assists in three seasons on the team.
